Deeper

DEEPER is a monthly worship service at St Silas church in the Woodlands area of Glasgow, Scotland. We try to take a more creative and experiential approach to worship and learning from the Bible.

3rd Sunday

This service grew out of a monthly Friday evening “Alternative Worship” type meeting. After a few years we decided to move this to a main Sunday evening service at St Silas on the third Sunday of the month.

DEEPER usually follows its own series over a course of a number of months which is not connected to the themes of the other evening services. This is a deliberate break from the ongoing theme.

We aim in a DEEPER service to integrate the teaching theme as much as possible into every other element of the meeting, from the entrance way, the way the space is set out and decorated, the music, visuals, drama, interaction etc.
